Christopher Morgan was born in Sacramento and raised in the apartment above the North Sacramento Funeral Home. He graduated from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science in June of 1997 and is a licensed Embalmer, Funeral Director and Crematory Manager. Christopher also has his insurance license which allows him to assist families making pre-need arrangements. Since his father’s passing and his mother’s retirement, he continues to oversee the daily operations of the funeral home.

Rita Morgan retired in 2014 after being a crucial component of the daily operations of North Sacramento Funeral Home for nearly 40 years. Although she occasionally stops by to visit, she spends most of her time relaxing, lunching with friends and doting on her 3 four-legged grandsons.

Sarah Wood joined the North Sacramento Funeral Home staff in 2009. She is a licensed Funeral Director and Crematory Manager. Sarah is a crucial component in the co-management of the business with Christopher Morgan including daily administration and future expansion. She also has her insurance license so she can assist families making pre-need arrangements.

Shanda Walker is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer who re-joined the staff at North Sacramento Funeral Home in 2018. She is highly regarded for her compassionate manner by the families she assists. She is an experienced embalmer with a keen eye for details that make all of the difference to her families. Shanda also has her insurance license so she can assist families making pre-need arrangements.
Administrative, Arrangement Counselor
Pamela “Pam” Mee joined the administrative staff at the North Sacramento Funeral Home in 2010. She provides assistance to families as an Arrangement Counselor as well as completing and filing death certificates. Her background in medical transcription and pre-nursing allows her to communicate efficiently with doctors concerning causation for death certificates. Families feel very reassured when they are under her care as she is personable and detail oriented.
Administrative Assistant
Monica Morgan joined the North Sacramento Funeral Home staff in 2016 as an Administrative Assistant. She is instrumental to the office with her skilled assistance completing death certificates. Families find her very personable and a good source of information regarding the required paperwork.
Certified Crematory Operator
Frank Lopez, Sr. has worked at the North Sacramento Funeral Home for nearly 19 years as a Certified Crematory Operator. Frank’s skills are imperative to the smooth operation of the crematory and he has a keen sense of crematory protocol as he worked under the guidance of Henry Morgan for many years. Frank is bilingual and provides translation for Spanish speaking families.
