We are saddened at Walter's passing, but joyful in that we know he is with the Lord and at peace. Prayers for comfort for Mary and the family and for all his many friends.
We are sure our group will miss the gatherings with him and others for "Russian Tacos."

Mary, you and Walter were such an integral part of Amber's life, filling a role that her own Grandparents could not. I am forever grateful for that. We will miss him tremendously. May you feel God's strength as you learn to live a new normal. I love you!

I have such fond memories, old and recent. Church camp outs. Toberlone chocolate and other gifts from Switzerland. Youth Christmas parties. Sunday school class. Taking turns cranking ice cream in your back yard. Heartfelt conversation. Snoopy emoticons. Walter treated people with respect and was quick to laugh. He loved to love people. I have such affection for this godly man. My love to Mary, Susan, Linda and family.

I a man so sad to hear about Walter passing. He will be missed. His laughter, smiling face and joking was a blessing in my life. My heart goes out to you, Mary and the family.

A handful of people in this world put such an indelible mark on your life that it changes who you are for the better. We are so thankful that God blessed our lives with Walter's friendship and influence in this way. He shared who God is with us through his teaching and life. He made us laugh. He brightened dark times. We release him to God's sovereign will but hang on to his incredible memory until we all are called home. Our prayers and love to all the family members. Steve and Judy
