Max's absence will be deeply felt by the Buddhist Meditation Group that meets on Tuesday nights. His knowledge and kindness were a blessing to all of us who had the privilege of knowing him. His sudden passing is a huge shock. We just saw him last week looking so strong and vibrant.

I will miss Max so very much - I was always so impressed by his knowledge and strength as a Teacher, I have felt so much gratitude for his generousity of spirit and person, and I was so touched by his passion for the Dharma. We were so fortunate to have Max step into our lives first in the Placerville meditation group, then by bringing in his sweet and wonderful wife, Amy, and then by joining us further in our home in Folsom for more group sitting. The rich energy of Max will continue to be with us...
