Vincent B Juarez (July 19, 1942 -- April 28, 2025)

Vincent “Vince” Juarez, age 82, of Sacramento, CA, passed away peacefully April 28, 2025 at the age of 82 with his loving wife, Laura and children, Sherron and Vince at his bedside.

Vince was born on July 19,1942 in Sacramento, CA to Ben and Mary Juarez.  He graduated from Norte Del Rio HS in 1961 and enlisted in the US Army for 4 years spending most of his tour in Germany.  He was a proud veteran.  After returning from the Army, he attended American River College and graduated with an AA Degree.  Vince then pursued a career working for the Federal Government for 34 years, retiring in 1998. 

Vince was very active in his community throughout his life coaching youth baseball, softball and soccer.  He was a long-time soccer coach at Christian Brothers HS and St. Francis HS, receiving many recognitions with both schools.  Upon retirement from coaching, he was active as a LaSalle Club Board member at Christian Brothers HS.

Vince loved his family, coaching and trout fishing in Markleeville; going to his children's and grandchildren's many sporting events; reading Native American history; taking walks; breakfast with his high school friends and lunches with the LaSalle Club friends; traveling with Laura and watching any and all sports on TV.  Vince has been a lifelong 49ers fan.

Vince is survived by his devoted wife Laura, daughter Sherron (Todd), and son Vince (Sarah), grandchildren:  Blaire, Andrew (Synclaire), Ben, Daniel, and Grace; sisters Juanita (Jesus), Priscilla (Herman); brothers Anthony (Dina), John (Shelly) and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and brothers Ben and Eddie.

We will miss him dearly and he will forever be in our hearts.

Services:  Rosary on Monday, May 5th at 6:30 pm at North Sacramento, Funeral Home (725 El Camino Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95815); Funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 6th at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church (1717 El Monte Ave. Sacramento, CA 95815). Final interment at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

The family thanks Kaiser Hospice and the Team at Mercy McMahon Terrace for the care provided to Vince.
