Sourasinh Bouttavong

On Thursday, July 29, 2021, Sourasinh “Haum” Bouttavong, passed away unexpectedly in Danbury, CT. Haum was born on August 2, 1985, in Dallas, TX. As an avid adventurer, he enjoyed the natural world from fishing, hiking, to snowboarding; with an emphasis on his physical fitness. An eclectic soul, Haum enjoyed listening to all genres of music but especially EDM and Heavy Metal. One of his favorite bands was Bullet for My Valentine.

His dominating affinity for Poker ensured all parties involved would leave family gatherings with empty wallets. Forever remembered by loved ones for his humility, fearlessness, and selflessness - Haum’s light was extinguished far too soon. No longer will he be able to share his laughter, his comfort, nor his spirit with those that need him most. As the brother everyone would wish to have, his unwavering devotion and passion towards his family, especially towards his nieces and nephews is immeasurable.

He is survived by his parents, Sommay and Xoymany; his brothers Sysongkham, Sommanokhit and his wife, Myra; his sisters, Sompathana and her husband, Abel, Vannasinh, Ratsamy and her husband, Jeremy, and his twin sister Noy and her husband, Yuli; his cherished nieces, Kaelyn and Tera, and nephews, Aiden, Richard, Xavier, Roczen, and Presly.
