Rodolfo F. Valencia

Rodolfo F. Valencia Sr., 63, passed away Wednesday August 25, 2021 at home in Sacramento, California. Rodolfo was born December 13, 1957 to Felix and Yolanda Valencia in Sacramento, California. He was the 6th sibling out of 9 siblings (Yolanda Vasquez, Steve Valencia, Terri Adame, Ernie Valencia, Sandra Plascencia, Baby Manuel, Gabriel Valencia, and Denise Stephens). Rodolfo graduated from Luther Burbank High School in 1976.

After graduating high school, he began his career working alongside his father Felix Valencia at Standard Upholstery for 30 plus years. He met his wife Julie Valencia in 1983 and married on August 31, 1985. Together they traveled all over the world to places such as China, Egypt, Bangkok, Thailand, Los Angeles, New York, Mexico, Madrid, Hong Kong, Florida, Bahamas, Europe, Paris, and Spain. On December 19, 1987, Rodolfo and Julie Valencia welcomed their first child a daughter, Jessica Valencia. On October 15, 1992, they welcomed a second child, Rodolfo Valencia Jr. He was a loving father and husband who dedicated his time to family, the shop, and travel. He enjoyed taking out his boat almost every Sunday in the summer at Folsom Lake with his family and some KFC for lunch. He also loved his football and baseball. He was a huge fan of the Oakland Raiders and Oakland A's. RAIDERS!!!!!!!!. He especially loved/enjoyed being a grandpa. He always had a smile and always very happy to spend time with his grandchildren.

Rodolfo is survived by his wife Julie, daughter Jessica, and son Rodolfo (Rudy) Jr. He was rich with family with grandchildren Anthony, Isla, Hannah, and Samantha, siblings Yolanda, Steve, Terri, Ernie, Sandra, Gabriel, and Denise, nieces Malina, Annie, Monica, Michelle, Lealynn, Erica, Emily, Morgan, Meghan, and Brianna, nephews Robby, Steven, Melecio, Eric, Matthew, and Christian, his best friend Victor Carrillo, and many family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers from the shop.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at North Sacramento Funeral Home Address: 725 El Camino Avenue Sacramento, CA. 95815  Time: 2:00PM-4:00PM (Main chapel). Masks required. Following the memorial service, please join the family for the memorial reception, and sharing of memories.
