It is with great sadness that the Castillo Family announce the passing of our dear son and brother, Richard Castillo, on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

Richard passed away peacefully in our family home of 68 years in Del Paso Heights, Sacramento. He was 72 years old.

Richard is preceded in death by our parents, Daniel and Carmen Castillo and his daughter, Richie Castillo. He is survived by his daughter, Liza Miranda, and two sons, Santino and Nicholas Castillo, sisters Alice Portillo (Rudy), Irene Reed (John), and brother Robert Castillo (Antonette).  He will also be missed by his best friend and caregiver Victor De Luna and his wife Margaret.  Richard was known for his kind and generous heart and will forever be missed.
