Ramila Dhowlatbhai Maisuria

Ramila Dhowlatbhai Maisuria, daughter of late Thakorlal Vithal Bhai and Ganga Ben Thakorlal, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021, at her home in Elk Grove, California. She died of complications from cancer. She was 68 years old.

She is survived by her husband of 52 yrs, Dhowlatbhai VallabhBhai Maisuria, four children: Harsheila Kumar, Pritee Maisuria, Urshila Maisuria and Vijay Maisuria, their spouses: Shailesh Kumar, Tarun Maisuria and Ameeta Maisuria, and five adoring grandchildren: Vanisha Kumar, Jayneel Kumar, Mischa Maisuria, Ayisha Maisuria and Amaya Maisuria.

Ramila Ben was born in Suva, Fiji on May 25, 1953 and grew up in Tavua. She migrated to Canada in 1973 and later moved to the United States in 1991. She was an extraordinary cook who loved to share her delicious food with others. She loved to garden, do yoga, and enjoyed the beauty of nature. Her jovial nature, contagious laugh, and ever-smiling face will be missed by all who knew her.
