Paras Ram

Paras “Parsu” Ram, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home of 37 years, surrounded by his family on Friday morning, November 5th, 2021.

 He was born September 4th, 1938 in Nadi, Fiji Islands, the eldest brother out of 10 siblings. He married on December 23rd, 1961 to Baraspati Ram and would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this December of 2021. Aside from being survived by his wife; he leaves behind sons:Mahendra (Peter), Janend, and Sailendra (Sonu); Daughters: Pramila (Pummy), Harina (Veena), and Roshni. Son-in-law: Jiten. Daughter-in-laws: Roselyn, Anita, Monika. Grandchildren: Atil, Jaynish, Ranita, Ashley, Amit, Anisha, Preeya, Rikesh, Alex, Shanil, Manisha, Austin, Cameron, Jaiven. Grand daughter-in-laws: Monica and Trazey, along with Great Grandchildren: Jayden, Nathan, Audrina, Aarya, Emma, & Liam.

 Paras was very dedicated to his family. He traveled to America in hopes of starting a thriving life for himself, his wife, and 6 young children. In his spare time, he loved to garden, sit in his garage with the door up, welcoming whoever came by. He enjoyed hosting and a quick game of 7-hand or tanni. From his affectionate hand shakes to his acknowledged head nods; he was a gentle giant. He will be greatly missed!
