Marilynn Louise Armstrong-Davis of Sacramento, California passed away on February 4, 2024 at Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento, California after succumbing to ovarian cancer. Burial services will be held at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, California on February 29, 2024 at 2:30pm at which time the remains of Marilynn and her husband Harry Davis will be laid to rest together.
Marilynn was born in California to John Wesley Armstrong Sr. and Juanita Suggs on May 20, 1950. She graduated from Sacramento High School and retired from the State of California - Department of General Services. Marilynn enjoyed spending time with family and friends, rooting for the Sacramento Kings and San Francisco 49ers, and beading beautiful jewelry. Always ready with a quiet smile and a big hug, she was a light to those that knew her.
Marilynn is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Carolyn, Paula and Pam, brother Mark, and husband Harry. She is survived by her son Dominique, brothers John and Tim, and a host of nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
