In Loving Memory of Guadalupe “Lupe” Reyes
Diamond Springs, CA

Lupe Reyes, 96, died January 3, 2026, at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born March 15, 1929, in Oak Creek, Colorado, the daughter of Luis and Petra (Velez) Gonzales.

Lupe was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Lupe and Edmundo Reyes were reunited while working together at the Nut Tree in Vacaville, California, and were married on November 17, 1951. They celebrated 57 years of marriage before his passing in 2009.

Lupe joins in heaven her parents, Petra and Luis; her stepfather, Santos; and her loving husband, Edmundo.

She is survived by her siblings, Louisa, Gilbert, Sam, and Junior; and by her children: Miguel and his wife Brie; Alicia (Pyara) and her husband Raymond; Jose and his wife Cindy; Pedro and his wife Patricia; and Marco and his wife Rachel. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Santos, Rachel, Arron, Angela, Camille, Elena, Petra, Isabella, Xavier, Jackson, and Ember; and her great-grandchildren, Audrey, Micah, Marcus, Davis, Riyan, Alexis, and Caspian.

Friends may call and are invited to attend the Rosary on Wednesday, January 14, at 2:00 pm at the North Sacramento Funeral Home, 725 El Camino Ave, Sacramento, CA 95815. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 15, at 11:00 am at St. Philomene’s, 2428 Bell Street, Sacramento, CA 95825. Interment service will take place on Friday, January 16, at 9:30 am at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA 95620.
