Judith Marie (Bridewell) Thompson died Aug. 31, 2023, at Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento. She was 70.

Judy was born January 31, 1953, in Woodland, Calif. She attended Woodland High School and American River College. She loved musical theater and attended plays whenever she could. She had a beautiful soprano voice and a gift for harmony, and sang in various choirs through the years. She also had perfect pitch, something only 1 in 10,000 people can claim.

She enjoyed trips to the mountains and the coast. She was an avid fan of figure skating, gymnastics, craft fairs, movies from the ‘30s and ‘40s, and presidential politics. She loved animals and raised several cats. She had a long career at AT&T and retired in 2010.

Judy was married to Ron Thompson for 17 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Helen Bridewell, and her brother, Richard Bridewell. She is survived by her sister, Donna Bridewell, of Sacramento.

Interment will be at Woodland City Cemetery.
