Jane Parmilla

Jane Parmilla was born January 15, 1953, and was the sixth of thirteen children to Shiri Ram and Uma Raji of Koronivia Nausori Fiji Islands. Parmilla got married on February 12, 1974, and gave birth to her first child, Shalini, on July 22, 1975. She gave birth to her second child, Nitesh Chand, on March 17, 1980. Parmilla lost her husband on February 24, 1985.

Parmilla loved her large family, helping on the farm and caring for her younger siblings. She loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family, later she took up a job working as a cook at a daycare center. Parmilla was very artistic and loved to knit and sew clothes.

Jane Parmilla was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She left this world on September 2, 2022, at 69, in Sacramento, California.

Parmilla is survived by her two beautiful children, Shalini and Nitesh, her grandchildren, Akash, Shayal, Michelle, and great-grandchildren, Rithik, Shanvi, & Ravit.
