Irene Licon

Irene Licon was born on December 13th 1927 in Battle Creek Michigan to Seth and Sylvia Rich. She was their only child. Her father Seth was 22 years old and her mother Sylvia was 18 years old at the time of her birth.  She married Lupe Licon at age 17 and moved to the greater Fresno area and years later divorced. Due to her disabilities, she did not work outside the home. Irene had four children, Jimmy, Raymond, Terri, and David. She moved to the Sacramento area about 1969 and resided there until her passing on September 15, 2021.

Irene is survived by three of her four children, Raymond, Terri and David, many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

She was a sweet, caring woman who loved the Lord supremely. She was active and attended the Church of God in Carmichael, who became her extended family. She will be greatly missed.

Irene, if alive today, would tell us the years serving the Lord were the best years of her life and she would invite others to seek God in all truth. God faithfully helped Irene whenever she had a need and He will do the same for anyone who comes to Him.
