Obituary
Erik Abella, 54, of Sacramento, CA, passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2022.
Erik was known as a “Jack of all trades”. He was a man of unshakable conviction and a man of compassion and honor. He was a gentle giant, a loyal friend, a lover of animals, and if you truly knew him, you know he was a man of limitless brilliance.
Remaining to cherish Erik’s memory are his children; Crystal Abella Ball, Kaitlin Abella, and Sabrina Kiner; grandson Xzavier Ball; mother Aloma Abella, and stepfather Ron Covell.
While we are shocked and filled with grief, we know that he would want us to celebrate his life instead of mourn his death. With that in mind, we will be having a Memorial on July 23, from 10 to noon, at North Sacramento Funeral Home, 725 El Camino Ave, in Sacramento, California.
Join us for a commemorative bike ride in Erik’s honor following the memorial service, to King Cong brewery, 1709 Del Paso Blvd, Sacramento, where we will share merriment and good humor in his memory.
