In Loving Memory of Curtis Leonard Dodson II

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Curtis Leonard Dodson II, a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather, who left this world on October 26th, 2023. He was 61 years old.

Curtis was a devoted father to his five children, Samantha, Melanie, Dominique, Jennifer and Rachel. He was also a cherished grandfather to his eleven grandchildren, Julian, Lillian, Elissa, Anthony Jr, Genevieve, Gianna, Olivia, Cahill, Hayden, Bentley and Paisley. He leaves behind a legacy of love and wisdom that will forever be treasured by his family.

Born on September 24th, 1962, in Sacramento California. Curtis was the youngest Son of Curtis Leonard Dodson and Lennie Marie Blair Dodson. He shared a special bond with his four siblings, Mona, Linda, Cheryl and Jerry. Their close-knit family was a source of constant support and joy.

Curtis was known for his warm heart, sense of humor, and unwavering kindness. He had a passion for art, music, the outdoors, and working on cars, which made him a well-rounded and creative individual with a love for both nature and machinery. His enthusiasm was contagious to all those who knew him. He was a pillar of strength and a role model to his family, always ready to offer a helping hand and words of encouragement.

A celebration of Curtis's life will be held on Friday November 3rd. Service will be held from 10am to Noon at North Sacramento funeral home 725 El Camino Avenue, Sacramento California 95815.

Curtis Leonard Dodson will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever shine bright in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, siblings, and the many friends and loved ones whose lives he touched.

Rest in peace, Tiger, and may your spirit find eternal happiness in the hereafter.
