Bob F. Velasquez sadly passed away on February 8, 2025 in Roseville, CA.  Bob was born in Fresno, CA on March 8,1926.  His parents immigrated from Mexico to raise his four brothers and three sisters in America.  Bob enlisted in the military and joined the US NAVY in 1943.  He served on the USS LASSEN in the Pacific until the war ended.  Bob owned a window washing business for many years in Modesto, California.  After Bob retired, he joined the American Legion Post 447 in North Sacramento.  He was President and held many other positions in the Legion.  Bob is preceded in death by his late wife Darlene Bybee Velasquez.  They were married in February 2002 and had many happy years together.  Their ashes will be combined and placed at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, California on Friday, March 7th, 2025 at 9:30am.  Military Honors will be rendered at this time.
