Adela "Dolly" Sanchez (Vigil)

Adela “Dolly” Sanchez (Vigil), age 66, succumbed to her 5-year battle with Cancer peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on February 17th, 2018 in Sacramento. She was born on June 4, 1951, in Sacramento, CA.

Adela “Dolly” Vigil graduated as a proud DON from Norte Del Rio High School in 1969. Soon after she married the love of her life Luis “Louie” Sanchez. Adela “Dolly” Sanchez worked for the Blue Diamond Growers in Sacramento, CA for over 30 years as a Quality Control Inspector.

Adela is now reunited with her Corazon Luis “Louie” Sanchez; parents Marcelino and Carmen Flores Baltazar Vigil; brother Marcus Vigil.

Adela is survived by her little sister Diana Martinez; loving daughter Patricia “Patty” Sanchez and son Luis Sanchez Jr.; beautiful granddaughters Jennie Gouveia, Marivel Sanchez, Shirley Sanchez, and Alejandra Sanchez; beloved great grandsons Cesar “CJ” Flores Jr., Xavien Romero, and Lucas Friend; wonderful nieces Diana Moran, Mariah Regalado and great niece Isabelle Moran; wonderful aunts, uncle, cousins, in-laws, extended family, and friends whom all made her life complete.

Adela was a very kind, loving, big hearted person with a vivacious personality. This has been validated by all the love and support the family has incurred during this difficult time.
