Robert Dale Hall
Robert Dale Hall (born December 16, 1931, in Moundsville, West Virginia) passed away October 28, 2019, in Sacramento, California, of complications due to prostate cancer. Dale is survived by his four children—Mary (Larry), Michael (Jenny), Dinorah (Robert), and Robert, Jr. Grumpy Grampa also leaves behind his three Grumpies—Gretchen, Elizabeth and Nat—with orders to complete the mission to Mars. He will also be greatly missed by a caring circle of extended family and friends (from West Virginia to California), especially his love, Florence.
Dale was a proud American and Korean War veteran, who served his country as a member of the greatest Air Force on Earth. He retired after 30 years as a brick mason and spent his later years tending his flowers and vegetable garden (oh, his tomatoes!); cheering on the Niners and Steelers; and watching people drive in circles (aka NASCAR). Per his wishes, no service will be held. Dale was a devoted cat man—in lieu of flowers, contributions to the Sacramento SPCA are welcomed.
