Jesus Hernandez

Our beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend Jesus “Jesse” Hernandez, 67, passed away June 9, 2018 in Sacramento, California surrounded by his love ones. Jesse was born June 02, 1951 in Uvalde, Texas to Catalina Zamora and Manuel A. Hernandez.

He was a good-hearted man and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a contractor and a jack-of-all-trades. If you called him with a repair he was there in a flash! 

Jesse always put others first even during his fight with his afflictions. He never let anyone know he was dying because he didnt want to be a burden.  He went through all the pain of pancreatic cancer by himself! 

Jesse loved drinking coffee and eating menudo with all his dear friends!  He loved second hand shopping, picking walnuts, dogs and barbecuing. He loved living in Sacramento and no one could sway him to leave.

He is survived by his two children “PeeWee”(Texas) and Soila (Texas), five grandchildren, two sisters Mary(Pennsylvania) and Deana(Texas) two brothers Manuel, Jr. and David(both in Utah), too many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews to count. 

Per Jesse’s request there will be no services held.
