August, 1932 – September, 2017

Born Erma Jean Ellis, the youngest of 13 children to Julius C. and Savannah R. Ellis. “Jean” as she was lovingly referred to by her family is preceded in death by her Parents, 3 Sisters,  9 Brothers, her Husband, Charles H. House, Sr, and infant Daughter Joyce Ann House.

She retired in 1995 from King Khalid Eye Specialist Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as their Director of Medical Records. Erma also served as Director of Medical Records at San Francisco General Hospital, San Francisco, CA, and Highland Hospital in Oakland, California

Jean enjoyed traveling, sight-seeing, keeping up with current events, and she was an avid Golden State Warriors and Oakland Raiders fan. She loved spending time with her Grandchildren and Great Grand-children.

She leaves behind in mourning 4 Sons, Charles H. House Jr., Edward L. House, Michael E. House, and adopted Son Paul Cruz, 2 Daughters, Beverly J. House and Rosemary House, 9 Grand Children, 14 Great-Grand Children, and a host of other family and friends.
