Obituary of our Beloved
Darius Martell Woods (DMW) was born on May 1, 1996 in Sacramento California to Brigette Denise Brown and David Maurice Woods (DMW).
Darius attended school in Sacramento California. He attended and graduated from Grant High School. He played football for Grant High School PACERS. His football was # 22, he played serveral positions which included runningback, quarterback and safety. He also attended college at American River College studying Business and other subjects.
Darius loved his family and friends. He was soft spoken but a Strong fearless Taurus the Bull. He was a great cook and loved to eat. He got his great cooking skills (red velvet Cake) from his Mother. He loved cooking Father’s day breakfast as a family Tradition. He also loved music and liked to rap (Bounce Out his single). He liked nice cars and he cherished his Red Oldsmobile. He was a Great entrepreneur and loved to make money. He inspired to have his own business (Gouda) and investments.
Darius was a Real (tell it to you straight) and compassionate person. He worked out and encouraged others to work out to and stay physically fit. He dressed to impress and, he was always smiling and was a respectful young man.
Darius was a loving son he leaves remembrance of his memory, Mother Brigette Denise Brown- Harvey, Father David Maurice Woods, Siblings Desmond Brown, David Woods Jr., Emmitt Weathersby, Jahamari Brown, Darron Hill, Terrta Hill. Grandparents: Bobbie Rowan and Vernon Harvey. Step Mother Temika Woods. Aunties, Linda D. Brown, Denise Brown, Marsha Akins, Carolyn "Nikki" Jones, Dwan Modkins. Nieces, Destinie Woods and Dejay Woods. Nephews Desmond Brown, Jr.. First beloved cousins, Shauntel Gould, Derek Gould, Ajani Jackson, Amatari Oyetedor, Dionjiane Allen, Manisha Jones, Murlani Akins, Nicholas Hall, JP Vance, Cheyenne Vance, Markela Akins, and LeQue Washington. Along with a host of other beloved cousins, uncles, aunts, relatives, special friends and extended family.
