Andrew Albert Torres resident of Sacramento, CA passed on Sunday December 29, 2019 in his home. Andy is 95 years old, a veteran of WWII, and retired as a Machinist working in Sonoma County while he raised his family in Marin County. Andy is survived by his loving wife Rita; they were married for 66 years. Andy has two children Lydia Torres Mehrer of San Diego and Richard Torres of Novato. Andy’s pride is his family: wife, daughter, son, and especially his grandson Tyler Torres and granddaughter Vanessa Torres. Andy loved sports including golf and horse racing, he was a long-time Little League coach and biggest fan of Tyler and Vanessa who play baseball and basketball in College. Andy lead an amazing, active, and healthy life and was thankful to his Care Giver Rosie Hernandez and the Medical professionals at Kaiser and Vitas. Andy is a Catholic and instead of a service requested that his many friends keep him in their prayers.
