Vinit Nirmal Singh

Born in Suva, Fiji Islands, Vinit “Vinny” Nirmal Singh, was the oldest son of Angli Singh and the late Randhir Singh and the dearly loved grandson of the late Ram Singh and Bilas Kaur.  Vinit was raised in San Mateo, California with his siblings, Aleshni & Alvin Singh and surrounded by many loving relatives and friends.  He went to San Mateo High School and became a tradesman in construction.  His prime desire was to help others through the medical field and enhance the lives of the people he met through his joy for humor, laughter and faith.

His kind and giving ways always endeared him to those who encountered his generous spirit; he enjoyed a life of peace and tranquility.  The first to help another and never one to pass judgment, Vinit was a man of compassion, caring for others always and touched the lives of many.  A special gift that made his life more whole was his love for his younger brother and niece who gave him the joy of his existence.  He treated and spoiled them both like his own; they were the gems of his life and his fortitude.

Vinit is dearly remembered and survived by his mother, younger siblings, brother-in law and his cherished niece.  He was known for his big heart, charity in the community, love for his family and friends, and easy-going and friendly ways.  He was a deep thinker and had a zeal for life and his relatives; Vinit relished spending time with his many cousins, family and childhood friends.  He enjoyed watching movies, reading the Bible, having conversations about God and his faith, staying fit through Boxing, and learning about his culture and others.

His spirituality and devotion to the teachings and principles of the Lord and Hinduism guided his life on earth.  It sustained him in his hour of death and in his passing lifts him to a desired state of being.  He rests in peace.

Vinit, who dwells in the shelter of the Most High God, will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalm 91:1)
