Raymond "Ray" Roland Brown

Raymond “Ray” Roland Brown, age 85, passed away peacefully at home on March 10, 2018.  Ray was born on August 25, 1932 in Bowdle, South Dakota, to John and Katie Brown. Ray, a fireman for Rancho Cordova for 20 years, enjoyed spending time with his wife Darlene of 60 years, his sons Don and Rich (Shelley), and four wonderful grandchildren Tyler, Aleisha, Branden and Sarah. Ray enjoyed coaching his sons in baseball, golfing, fishing, hunting and loved to volunteer for any golf tournament. A kind and gentle man, Ray is survived by his brother John Jr., and sisters Laura and Ruby. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Ray’s life at the Rancho Cordova Elks Lodge - 11440 Elks Circle, Rancho Cordova, CA 95742 on Monday, March 19th at 11:00am
