Jagtar Singh Tumber

Loving and devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather, Jagtar Singh Tumber, passed away on May 20, 2016. He was born on March 22, 1939 in Punjab, India to Harjit Kaur and the late Darshan Singh Tumber.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Kamla Devi, and his four sons and daughter and their spouses- Devinder Tumber & Bhupinder Kaur, Perminder Tumber & Sharonjit Sekhon, Jatinder Singh & Karen Singh, Jasspreet Saini & Amrit Saini, and Pritpal Singh & Mayra Singh. As well as by his brother Avtar Singh and his wife Neelam Saini, and their three kids Monica Saini, Raman Singh, and Shereen Lal Saini. As an incredibly generous and loving grandfather he will be truly missed by his grandkids- Paras Tumber, Tanisha Takhar, Akshay Tumber, Kuran Saini, Rajan Saini, Anthony Singh, and Alyssa Singh.

As an immigrant to America in the 70’s he was determined to pave the path to a prosperous life for his kids, which he has successfully done, and has passed down that same tenacity and drive to his kids and grandkids. Although we will extremely miss him, we will always remember him in our hearts and through our inherited habits as being joyfully loud, outgoing, and unconditionally loving.
