80, of West Sacramento passed away March 22, 2018. She was born August 5, 1937. She was a longtime West Sacramento resident.

Ethel enjoyed working in her garden, fishing, taking photos, traveling, and especially loved spending time with her family. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Aunt.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years Mel Chessen of West Sacramento, daughters Tarri Hamby of Fresno, Sharin Shuler of Fresno, Karen & Cheryl Helver of Wisconsin, Joanne Chessen of Midvale, UT, Christy (Rusty) Hamby of Christmas Valley, OR, sons Timothy Hamby of Wisconsin & Wayne Hamby of Fresno, two sisters Dee Windsor & Mae Bachini
