Darlene Adel Golden

Darlene Adel Golden, 95 of Sacramento passed away September 2, 2017 at Kaiser Roseville Hospital. She was born July 12, 1922 in Coats, Kansas. She was a longtime Sacramento resident. Darlene worked as an Administrative Assistant for the State of California for over 18 years.

Darlene enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, traveling, family functions (i.e. family Reunions),  raising her family and working alongside her forever husband of 65 years, Harold Golden in wood working, traveling, raising the family and life in general.

Darlene is survived by her daughter Terri J. Yarbrough and son David A. Golden

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Golden in 2009

Funeral Services will be Friday, September 8, 2017 at 10:00 am at the North Sacramento Funeral Home 725 El Camino Ave Sacramento. Burial will follow at the Sacramento County Veteran’s Cemetery 6805 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, CA 95820.

Memorial contributions can be made in Darlene’s name to the American Heart Association 2007 O Street, Sacramento, CA 95811.
